TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITES WITH THE RIDE
THE RIDE is a natural for Corporate Team Building. We offer three distinct team building activities on THE RIDE and two workshops with our partner Broadway Access for you to choose from.
RIDE Quiz Customization –On THE RIDE a fun, game-show style quiz is part of the show. Hosted by our performers, Scott and Jackie, and using sound effects and exclusive RIDE technology it’s an interactive experience that engages all our passengers. Our Corporate clients customize the quiz by providing the questions and answers that will be used by our performers during THERIDE quiz. The questions can be serious or light-hearted in nature. Some groups even break-up into teams and get into the competitive spirit.
Scavenger Hunt – RIDE participants need to spot pre-determined items on the street of NYC while on THE RIDE. The group breaks-up into 2 teams, each co-captained by a RIDE guest and one of our performers Scott or Jackie. Corporate clients can customize the list by adding items specific to their brand or company. It’s a race to see who can find the most items before THE RIDE comes to an end.
Mad-LIBS - is a phrasal template word game where one player prompts others for a list of words to substitute for blanks in a story, before reading the – often comical or nonsensical – story aloud. On THE RIDE your group suggests words for our New York City based Mad-libs. Our RIDE hosts Scott and Jackie facilitate the game and stage a dramatic reading of your group’s story at the completion of THE RIDE.
Meet a Broadway Performer - Take advantage of this rare opportunity to connect with a performer from any currently running Broadway show! Get inside information about the Great White Way that you won’t read in a typical tour book. Sample topics include the Broadway audition and rehearsal processes, the day-to-day life of a professional performer, and secrets about what really goes on backstage during a show. Get all of your questions answered, and you may even get a private performance!
Get Up and Move! - Never danced, sang or acted before? No problem! In this great team building exercise, a Broadway performer will teach you a fun and easy to learn selection from any currently running Broadway show. Discover your inner “super star”! Beginners wanted.
